Advantages of membership

The member companies of the BVMA maintain a lively exchange of information on special topics which are of particular importance to the CRO branch e.g. the question of liability, drawing up contracts with sponsors and subcontractors, experience with inspections and audits, etc. and thus have at their disposal a pool of information which can certainly be regarded as above average.

Successful participation in the Association's quality assurance programme also leads to positive positioning in the marketplace and permits a clear distinction to be drawn between competitors. The programme and the anonymised results of the periodically held system audit of all member companies are published on a regular basis at national and international levels, and are therefore very appropriate as "add-on" in the context of individual PR measures.

The Association's efforts to be represented on the relevant committees of legislative bodies have been crowned with success in recent years. Thus all member companies are automatically represented on these bodies by the executive board of the BVMA, and benefit from up-to-date, reliable, first-hand information.

The employees of all member companies can take part in training programmes and attend the annual conference held during November in Munich at especially defined member rates. These events always cover current topics so that they are exceptionally suitable for high level continual training for the member companies' employees.

A code of conduct which was agreed on by all member companies guarantees "Good Business
Practice" among them.
